With over 170 miles of trails to explore, Patapsco Valley State Park is a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Horseback riding trail rides in Patapsco Valley State Park are a one of a kind experience. Participants must be 10 or older and capable of controlling their own horse with instruction. Depending on the rider’s experience, our staff will provide an introductory lesson prior to starting the actual trail ride. For your safety and enjoyment, we provide our staff as friendly trail ride guides on all rides. We do not permit double riding. Helmets, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are required. Wild Kid Acres has helmets available for riders who do not have their own. Lunch will be provided as part of this experience.

Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at minimum 7 days in advance for a full refund.

Inclement weather policy: In case of inclement weather, you may reschedule to another date subject to availability.
